Meet Carla & Our Space
A safe, calm space created with intention — where every child is welcome and every family is valued.

Meet Carla
Licensed Cosmetologist & Founder
After 13+ years behind the chair, I noticed something heartbreaking: families with sensory-sensitive children were being turned away, rushed through, or made to feel like a burden at traditional salons. That's why I created Little Roots Studio.
“I've learned that the best haircuts happen when a child feels completely safe — even if that means we spend the first visit just playing!”
Background
Carla spent years mastering children's hair care at Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids in Henderson, NV — one of the leading children's salon franchises. During that time, she developed her specialized approach to sensory-friendly technique and recognized that families with children who have sensory needs, autism, or haircut anxiety deserved a dedicated, private studio experience. Little Roots Studio is the result: an independent salon built entirely around the needs of those families.
Little Roots Studio is an independent business and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids.
